Can you give examples?

I ask because most fisheye lenses are equisolid or equidistant.

Samyang 8mm 1:3.5 (various crop SLR mounts), 8mm 1:2.8 (various crop mirrorless mounts), 12mm 1:2.8 (various 35mm SLR mounts). I've read the TTartisan 11mm is also stereographic projection.

Interesting. I wish I had proof but I don't have optical prescriptions for any of those lenses and that term is sometimes used loosely.

Slightly Off Topic (OT), I have never located even one TTartisan lens patent.
If anyone has I'd love to hear from you.

Some information, but don't forget the huge pinch of salt, https://www.kenrockwell.com/tech/8mm-f35.htm#pro

Yeah, one issue is that he thinks there is only one "real" fisheye projections.
Is this a knock-off or rebranded?

Yeah, I have all the block diagrams which I use to help identify lens patents.
Haven't located any Samyang fisheyes at his point
