I am planning for a trip to the lake district and the farne islands. My first camera is a fuji xT3 but now the shutterspeed dial is not working correctly (if i change the shutterspeed, the metering mode dial changes as well...)

I am planning to buy a back up camera and have to decide between a new XS10 or a used XH1 as I want to have IBIS

I shoot mostly with 16-55 for landscape, 50-140 for portraits and 100-400 for birds and wildflife

What would you recommend? Buy a used XH1? or new XS10. My budget is 1000 euro max

Thanks for your response!

To accompany an X-T3 my vote definitely goes to the X-S10 - that was my setup until I changed the T3 for the 4.

Personally I think the smaller body compliments the larger X-T3 plus I found the the 3 to be a significantly better camera than the X-H1.
The other factor, which may not be important to you, is because the XT3 and XS10 have the same sensor and processor then you can expect identical results regardless of which one you use.

I know when I’m travelling or out and about I always grab the XS10, it’s just so portable. I would recommend looking at a grip for the XS10. I got a smallrig one which just adds a nice bit of heft and size to it for when it’s required - I have found myself using it quite often with the 50-140 that way.

Thanks yes i have the same feeling XS10, grip is a good idea, same sensor and processor is also an advantage
