Next X100?

I doubt, highly doubt, there will be an improvement in the lens, it was just done on the V and it took 5 generations for that improvement to be implemented. On that schedule, the X 100X will get a new lens.

What would move me to upgrade from X 100f, I think in body Snapseed so I can work on an image in camera. If I can have Snapseed (image processing) on my phone, no reason it can't go into a camera. IBIS would help but not for me, I think it would help a video crowd.  With a 23mm lens, you can select a decent enough shutter speed to knock out any softness problems, 1/100s or faster so no need for IBIS.

I would like Fuji to focus on downloading more options that can impact imaging, so I'd like them to release more film sims, this really isn't a X 100vi deal but applicable to all cameras.

I would like seamless interphase between the needed to be improved Fuji remote software and my phone. Quickly I could take an image in camera, muck about with it with the internal Snapseed program, and transfer it to my phone, quickly without brains, brawn and technical know how. My phone can do this already.

As I have said, I have the X 100f and there isn't much or anything I can think of that would make it a better camera.  The much ado about nothing hype over the close up performance of the first through fourth generation of the same lens is a waste of breath.  I just use the internal teleconverter, select 50mm which allows me to shoot the close up image further away which eliminates any "softness."
