As others said, macro lenses are the same as regular lenses optically. Focal length, focus distance and aperture have exactly the same effect on DoF for all lenses.

I think what prompts this DoF question is that macro lenses are generally used at closer focus distances than regular lenses. That reduces DoF a lot by itself. Because "regular lenses" can't get that close (without extension rings) you don't see the extreme shallowness that a macro lens can produce (assuming same aperture ranges etc).

So it can seem like macros generally have shallower DoF than regular lenses, but that's just because of how they're used, closer, not because the optics work that differently.
