Thinking about a change to Fujifilm

Hi there,

I have been shooting with Panasonic MFT cameras for a number of years but recently have been thinking about a change. There are a few cameras that have my interest and one of them is the Fujifilm X-T4.

I can go into specifics of why I am looking to change separately but for now I'd like to explore one of the main attractions for me in Fujifilm cameras - the design, i.e. the use of physical control dials.

Being able to directly adjust settings and see them at a glance seems more intuitive than having to use a PASM mode dial, press a button and roll a wheel while looking at the screen to see the exposure values.

Given the physical controls and ease with which settings can be changed on Fujifilm cameras , it seems that this would encourage users to operate the camera more manually than they might on a camera with a PASM dial.

So my question - is this how you use your camera, i.e. a manual approach ? Would you usually select aperture and shutter speed and maybe set ISO to A? Or do you still operate in a 'mode', i.e. set shutter and ISO to A and set the aperture via the control ring on the lens?

I am keen to understand how Fuji users typically use their camera.
