Invalid comparison IMHO

Don't get me wrong, but about Apple hardware, I do know something as making leaving as Apple Engineer for large enterprise. I do have access to almost any piece for Apple hardware, getting first of everything for testing. So, answering your question, iPhone 12 vs 13 is considerably "twice everything" - sharpness, less noice, more natural and realistic in colors accuracy, speed, low light ability. Almost as good as my Canon R but easy to use; with Canon R, about 60% of my shots come to trash; with iPhone, I keep 60%

I'm a big fan of Apple as well and long ago gave up PCs for Apple MacBook Pros and iMacs. So, I have a lot of respect for their products and the innovation behind them. But trying to compare the innovation and development effort (and introduction cycles) between their product lines and Fujifilm's makes no sense to me at all. They are different products, with different customer profiles, very different technology, and different inherent innovation rates. Many people upgrade their computers on a fairly frequent basis as software evolves and puts increasing demands on hardware. Faster processors, I/O, and communications have evolved quickly as applications put more demands on computers.

Cameras aren't quite like that. There are gradual improvements to sensor technology over generations as well as various added features. Sensors get a bit more dense over time (thought that seems to be flattening somewhat these days as there is a logical limit as to how many MP you can use and what's practical to work with in a computer.

Bottom line: there is significant innovation in both categories. However, the rate of innovation, and the degrees of change you might expect between generations is very different, so I would argue that your comparison here really isn't viable and has little value in comparing innovation rates between very different products.
