I did feel like I could've started a fire with my detailed personal experience and opinion about the (-) points with the Canon RF 24-105mm f/4-7.1 IS STM. Didn't realize it would become this big as a noob lol.

I mentioned the lens model just in case you've forgotten what was the lens we're discussing, because there is someone posted pictures taken with a Sony camera that in no way would fit an RF lens.

Have fun disagreeing with me again

While I agree with you the 24mm performance of the 24-105 stm isn't good enough, I can also tell you I don't do important 24mm shots with my EF 24-70mm f/2.8 USM L mkII. Those 24mm shots are for the Tamron 17-35mm, as that lens has no distortion at 24mm.

The moral of this story: It's hard to find a satisfying 24mm in a standard zoom anyway.

Well... my Sigma 16/1.4 is pratically almost a 24 mm lens...

The lens doesn't appeal to me.  At that focal length I would rather have stabilization (either ILIS OR IBIS) than a large aperture, but that's probably me.  You also own the 11-22mm giving a true 24mm equivalent (in stead of 25.6).  How does the 11-22mm compare to the 16mm f/1.4?

45 is more than enough, but 500.000 isn't
