Even though it is newer and smaller in most cases prices for a used Canon RF 24-105mm F/4-7.1 IS STM are less than a used Canon EF 24-105mm f/3.5-5.6 STM.

I know why.

I bought a Canon Refurbished 24-105mm STM for $249 and included the Canon Factory 1-Year Warranty.

The main reason I bought the refurbished 24-105mm STM was to have a smaller/ lighter 'general purpose' walk around lens option to using my 24-105mm f/4 L lens with the EF-RF adapter.

Jon

I bought mine on ebay and it did not cost much to find out what it was about.

It is sharp enough to be a good lens for ebay photos but I find the M50II with a 15-45mm to work better for ebay photos.

The all plastic little 15-45mm costs almost as much as the RF 24-105 STM at the Canon refurbished store.

I expect the RF 24-105MM STM II will come soon.

Not the same hope for the 15-45MM though.
