Re: I tried a mirrorless. Have you?

I have not, as yet. I'm happy with my current gear as it meets my needs. In my specific situation, I don't need a new camera yet. I'm happy to wait until I do. By all accounts, the mirrorless technology is still pretty revolutionary in terms of advances in each camera generation. So, hopefully my current camera will last a few more years - allowing mirrorless technology to keep advancing and a better chance of the manufacturer's market share to stabilize more. It's easier to hold off because I'm not a fan of having to use adapters. So, for me, going mirrorless also means spending money to replace my lenses - this way I can take advantage of every aspect of the new body - an adapter would be a very short term thing for me.
If I HAD to buy now, I just might punt and buy used DSLR that works with my current lenses. In the mean time I would expect viewfinders on all mirrorless to continue to get better - that seems to be the trend that a lot of effort is being put into improving the experience. With Canon, Nikon & Sony targeting professional shooters and going all-mirrorless I would anticipate they'll continue to improve that area.
I do like reading peoples' experiences though - and I think the important take-away is to understand how new gear works and the configurations and how to adjust. And, of course, everything is a give and take. I shoot Canon. I used to user a 1-series DSLR. When I downsized to a 5-series I gave up some things I liked about the 1 series but on balance the pros outweighed the cons for me and how my shooting had evolved. If my needs were different then I might have stayed with 1-series. So, it isn't one answer for everyone. There is no camera that is the best at everything for everyone. I'm pleasantly surprised that in a declining market such as ILCs are that there is still so much choice and competition. I hope it stays that way when the time comes for me to replace my current kit.
