I was doing a lot of video on D600 a decade ago, which was a challenge. Since the D600 (and D750 uses contrast detect AF), the videos would be ruined whenever the subject moved, and the camera had to reestablish focus, back and forth. Quite frustrating when that happens. For a while I was manually focusing using focus ring and gear.

Thankfully I upgraded to the Z6 when it came out, knowing it had PD AF for video. That in itself is worth the ticket for admission. The qualities of the video of D600 and Z6 are both quite good at 1080p. The Z6 however does 4K/30 which is quite nice. I think Z6ii has 4k/60 which would be even nicer, but will wait for the 3rd gen Z6. The Z6 IBIS is nice, but a tripod with fluid head is preferable.

I also have a Z50 which is quite capable, although you lose a bit in low light.
