In the meantime, the short (one sided) battery grip feels really nice in the hand (on the M50, that is).

The website does not say so but the M50 grip works fine on the M50II.

Among other things I really like the way it will sit steady on a flat surface with a 11-22mm lens mounted.

The weight of the batteries on the bottom make it stable.

The newer ones are very nice.
