Fine result. I never did digital editing for 3D. I just played with camera placement, screen placement, angles ov view and focal lengths.

I dont really understand how you can get to this result without skewing the images.

So for the previous picture this is the mask. All that mid gray mask area does not alter the original stereo image, while the lighter gradient goes to white, does so progressively. I work with the Anaglyph to see the changes better and the only layer that shifts is the Red one. The Cyan layer stays the same. After the modification, I re-separate them into Side by Sides for archive or other outputs like Xeye.

Take the original Side by Side; superimpose Left image onto Right; switch off Blue and Green channels of Left image to convert to Anaglyph; displace (top) Left image using mask; switch Cyan back on again and re-separate the two layers into Side by Side.

Only the background of the original Left image has been progressively moved further Left. The Right image remains unchanged. (Or whichever you choose.) One can't use sharp edges or it can show two images where it has moved, the new and the original, hence the blurred filter. Great accuracy is not required.

As previously mentioned, it is for Classic Stereo Card use, NOT large screen, VR, Remote Nuclear fuel element recovery nor Keyhole Surgery.
