Mini Challenge #582: House-Call of the Wild
11 months ago
1
For this mini challenge, think of any images depicting the interaction between the man-made world and the natural world. In my imagination, this describes wild animals in an urban environment, or domesticated animals interacting with their wild counterparts. It could just as easily include mother nature reclaiming the ruins of a man-made structure or any other interplay between the two forces (man and nature).
THE RULES as usual (borrowed from #581)
You may enter up to three competition images. Exhibits permitted as usual with respect to the mini.
Please reply to the FIRST (ORIGINAL) post only if you are submitting an entry and please remember to change the subject of your post to display your name or picture titles.
Please embed your image in the thread. As a show of courtesy, and for clarity, please remove the original post when replying, so you don't bring back any previous photos unless you discuss (refer to) them.
Any camera or time taken is eligible.
The mini challenge will run for a week plus -- entries through midnight EDT on 4/19/22.
The Wrinkle
Just for fun, I plan to proclaim a People's Choice honor for whichever image garners the most "likes" using the thumb's-up button in the forum --whether that image is submitted as an entry or as an exhibit. The People's Choice aware does not carry with it any reward penalty such as an obligation to host the next challenge, and may be any photo submitted regardless of my own judging. I just wanted to test out the concept of incorporating the thumb button in lieu of multiple "nice shot" responses with minimal substance. Please feel free to interact with submissions as you normally would, though.
As always, have fun and get creative.
Examples
A pair of bottle-nosed dolphins enjoying the wave that only exists because man dropped a boat in their environment.
