I just used my new G5xii at a dance show along side of my Nikon D7200 (crop sensor DSLR) with f/2.8 18-55 lens.

I will say that I was super impressed by the results I got from the G5xii in comparison. I will go so far as to say that on occasion, because of the longer zoom on the G5xii a few of the shots actually came out better than the DSLR shots.

I'm not a professional, but the shots really came out very nice for such a small package and are very presentable in this low light dancing environment.

I have to agree _ I did the same at a shoot I was doing for the church - F1.8-2.8 allowed me to keep the ISO low and the camera wasn`t attracting attention like the Z7 or an R5 with a fast lens on would ....... the Deal maker was the EVF - wouldn`t hav stood a chance with the G7X

100% Crop with very little in the way of NR from RAW in Capture one . fast lens let me use ISO160 - I`d knocked the front ring dial hence F3.2 on this one, it could do with being "Clickier"

Click Original and Pixel Peep !

100% Crop RAW in Capture one this lens thrives at the long end like the G7X optic before it

Looks fantastic! Very crisp.
