to be serious now:

if this is the case, you should indelatturn the camera to fujifilm.

hope they‘ll find the problem.

This overheat issue similar to X100V. Fuji has has been release new firmware (fast released after launch X100V) for turn off overheat warning. Are similar solution will introduce for X-E4 later?

Similar solution also applied for Sony A6x00 series:

"Sony does have an overheating fix for the a6400 that was also introduced via a firmware update in the a6300 and a6500. In the setup menu you will find an option called “Auto Pwr OFF Temp”. By changing setting to high the temperature threshold will be increased and the over-heating warning will kick in a lot later. "

IMO root cause for these issue because use outdated/slow quad-core ARM processor (X-Processor 4 & Sony BIONZ X) in camera. These slow processor forced run 100% in normal camera operation. It similar to old phone (slow processor) feel hot when run modern app (which demand more processing power).

However, curious are X-T30 (which has similar body size, same processor & sensor) feel hot? If X-T30 didn't feel hot, are it means new firmware (new AF/film simulation) in new camera drain more power?

P.s. Wikipedia mentioned Sony BIONZ X are quad-core 32-bit ARM processor (ARM Cortex-A5).

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bionz

Xiaomi Mi Box 3S ($50 Android TV box released at 2016) is using Amlogic S905X - quad-core Cortex-A53 64-bit ARM.

Google Chromecast with Google TV ($50 Android TV box released at 2020) is using Amlogic S905X3 – quad-core Cortex-A55 ARM.

I just sent one of my Fujis in for this exact thing-max temp being reached after a few minutes of video, said camera normally capable of shooting for over an hour.  Fuji replaced the main power board.

I've seen enough of these fail in my own cameras that I'm starting to think that their power supplies are the weak link in their design.  But that's strictly anecdotal.
