The cage is not an L-bracket, though; the Arca rail is only on the bottom, so it's not straightforward for portrait orientation. I have the similar (and I think better) cage from UURIG, and got around this by attaching a small plate that had an Arca flange on it, which I can't find on SmallRig's site now [cue the conspiracy music ]

Yes, but easy to add a small Arca plate to the left side, then it’s an L-bracket!
