Travis, I see only the max apertures in the EXIFs but given aperture shapes in the bokeh the max aperture isn't used in most takes.  My guess is 2.0 for most images.  The difference in focal lengths is more pronounced if actual measured focal lengths are considered, the SSC is with 54,9mm a true 55mm, the 58mm Rokkor measures 59,5, so 4.5mm difference.  No number for the Minolta MD 50mm 1.2 here.  It has however 6 quite straight aperture blades instead of the 8 for the other two.  Are the Canon blades a bit more rounded off than the 58mm Rokkor has?  I get that impression.

All in all I like the Canon SSC results here as well. Maybe some flare in it gives smoother tonal gradations in the focused parts, at least both Minoltas behave different here.

Met vriendelijke groet, Ernst
