M6 vs X100S
3

This really isn't a valid comparison because the X100S is much older than even the now-dated M6, but a family member let me borrow the X100S a few years ago for a weekend which inspired me to buy an M6 with the 22mm lens after enjoying the shallow DoF and 35mm-equivalent output of the Fuji, but finding that the newest X100 was too pricey for me at the time of purchase.

Now that same family member gave me their X100S after they upgraded to a newer Fuji, and I've been able to shoot it side by side with my M6. The EF-M 22 is soooo much sharper than the Fuji lens, and there's no comparison on high ISO performance between the two cameras. I do love the EVF/OVF and direct controls on the Fuji, plus the film simulation colors, particularly Velvia, but in all other respects using this thing just confirms how much I love my M6. Just having face detect autofocus on the Canon makes it lightyears more usable when photographing my toddler.

Pretty obvious stuff, really, but the larger point is that these EF-M bodies and lenses really are excellent.
