No. The demonstration in the video is misleading (may or may not be on purpose). Yes, it will AF and it'll appear that you can select the aperture. But the lens will work only at wide open aperture. This is shown in the video, a pic at 70mm f/4, 135mm at f/4.5 and 300mm at f/5.6. A-OK. But if you try to shoot with the aperture stopped down it will fail and give ERR code.

This lens is pretty old, and I am curious if it would work on my 600D.

Some people say it doesn't work with Digital SLRs, but only film SLRs.

This guy is using the Sigma 70-300 DL on a 700D, and everything seems to be working fine, including the AF motor and changing the aperture value.

I can't understand the language the guy is speaking in the video though, so don't know what's exactly going on, but I could see the AF motor moving and him changing the aperture value.

I don't know if it is perfectly compatible with my 600D...
