Hello;

Working with a X-T30.  For indoor work (V & B ball) i tend to use AF-C option 5, Single point Focus with a mid size box, tend to shoot wide open, ISO 3200-6400 (some dimly lit gyms I need to push to 12800 - but really preferred not to) SS 1/400 -1/600 I find that often slower than 1/400 i get blur in the hands - sometimes artistic -mostly distracting...

Just picked up XF50 f/2 - seems to work well - jury still out... I have the 50-140 f/2.8 - good lens (heavy) and unless in a well lit gym the extra stop loss is noticed.

If have used the XF35 f/1.4 and then cropped... a sightly larger miss rate; work well for the broad shots but depending on how much you crop can fall apart  - there plus is that you gain a stop over the f/2....

Middle and High school gym lighting is a real crap shoot....
