Hi everyone,

Would like to know if it's possible to adjust audio levels during video recording.

I've heard that you should limit it to 6 dB during recording, but sometimes people may change their volume of speaking, so I might want to change audio levels.

Instead of simply using auto levels, is it possible for one to change audio levels in-camera?

I don't use a dedicated recorder. What I'd do is that I'd take the Lavalier receivers and plug it into the audio input and just record.

Funny that I'm asking, but is it even a good idea to change the audio levels on camera given that it might move the camera?

I'm wondering if it's possible to plug in receivers into a laptop and record on Audacity, then have all cameras record audio using their built in mics and sync up in post, and at the same time adjust the audio levels as needed?

Well, it's only possible on post-production process. It's kinda difficult to adjust volume level during recording, so you can only adjust it after your video is complete and goes through a montage process.
