I looked at those with the loupe, man those are very clean and detailed with raw conversion.

And thats with NO Noise reduction added at all in C1 or Photoshop - and when you turn NR off in C1 there really isn`t any at all , nothing hidden.

Click on Original size to see the whole thing at best quality - I`ve found with canons in general to make sure you keep the exposure up, they have lots of ""highllight recovery"" but a high noise floor at base ISO , on the G5X-II etc, uppijng the exposure up 2/3 of a stop is like shooting a Sony RX10 MK3 (the one with the 24-600 lens) at ISO64 and the IQ is just as clean - there are no pulled ISOs (such as 50, 64 or 80) on these cameras sadly so no Automatic way of doing this ..

Someone complained about the sky noise on the RAW samples on here from the M6-II review at base ISO - and yes its there and in the shadows too - shoot the thing +1/3 or 2/3 and recover the highlights and all is clean, noticed it on the M50 or M100 also - with Nikon (and sony ?) FFs its the opposite, all the recovery is best done by underexposing and pulling up . its just the way the cams are setup - I fell out of being used to doing it, always was the way I shot with the 1DS series for work before they stopped making them and I moved to Nikon for work cams .

Cool, interesting
