Hi Otto,

Thanks for your input which I also discovered from one of your earlier posts great to know your there.

I think the problem is although I used a flash with a low trigger voltage about 10-12 volts it's fused the flash trigger contacts within the camera. My reasoning is that when I fir the flash and then raise to it's operating position the flash will fire part way up, in it's full upper position it then won't fire or be recognised by the camera. This would be my conclusion if the contacts are permanently closed this would happen. So really a lesson learnt I should have used my other flash with a trigger voltage of 1volt.
