Looking for some feedback. Started my journey with t3i to a 70D to now an entire system of Sony with the A7R2

I’ve owned a T4i and 70D (and 7D2), but not a Sony ILC.  The M6ii’s performance is stellar compared to any of those DSLRs.

Use Spot AF with Servo and you’ll be able to shoot anything.  Having all that goodness packed into such a compact body is wonderful, and with a zoom such as the 18-150 it makes a super travel kit.  Or go even smaller with the little 15-45 and/or 22!  In fact the 22 fits right in the side pocket of most little hip holster cases (with a spare battery in the other pocket).

As far as the tilting screen goes, it’s certainly personal preference, and I adore the M6ii’s ultra-quick (to adjust) LCD.  I wouldn’t have it any other way.  If there’s to be an M6iii, it may only be a “firmware/feature upgrade,” but I’ll be pre-ordering mine.

If you’d like to see what the M6ii is capable of, there’s a thread with a lot of good information here…

Good luck with your quest!
