Ladies and gents,

As AdamT pointed out, and I noted about a month ago, Adobe now has a true color match for the G5X II (and many other new CR3 RAW capable Canon's these days) making it appropriate for standard use in my book, again. Took them 4 years to get true (not faked ala last 3 yrs) CR3 support. Better late than never.

This does cure base ISO noise reduction concerns if shooting RAW.

It's a pretty big step forward. If you've been shooting RAW, you should go back to old RAWs and re-process, and, it makes the G5X II more relevant as that gives it some extra oomph to compete with smartphones which have been nipping at 1" sensor cameras heels for some time.

Processing matters just as much as the equipment these days. That's largely why smartphones have been catching up. Compute capability built-in.
