How can I shoot in vertical mode when using heavy adapted lens with M body
2

I am trying to use a 1200g lens with ef-eos m adapter on M6 II. The lens does not come with a tripod mount. If I want to use a L-bracket, should I mount it on the camera or on the ef-eos m adapter (there is a 1/4 mount on the adapter)?

If I mount a L-bracket on the camera, will the lens + adapter (1300g total) put too much weight on the camera's mount?

If I mount a L-bracket on the adapter, will it be stable?

Thanks
