I suspect that probably speaks for everyone: if you’re getting worthwhile shots of animals on a 23mm lens then either they’re not wild or you’re in a lot of trouble 🙂

10 years ago I got chased by a deer with large antlers. Luckily my dog and I were sprite enough to get in the house.

We have a local zoo were you can get close enough, and still be in safety for wild animal shots.
