Take some trips and make the most of that gear you have
Thanks for your comment. Not planning any trips for this year until things become less crazy.... I meant the costs of travel, work schedule as well as the omicron /covid situation.
Got a nice tax return eh?
not really…
I agree the cost of traveling right now is insanely expensive. Went to Kauai on a family trip in December and cost me $8K, plus food and car rental. Big mistake IMHO but my wife wanted to go.
Yeah… family trips are never cheap. And it is even crazier this year!
Having said that, I would reconsider YetAnotherUsername's suggestion because what's the point in buying gear just to show it and brag about it?
That never cross my mind tho. I rarely brag about what I buy or show off anything.
Maybe you should just use your existing gear and take a train trip somewhere and take amazing memorable photos. Perhaps you can take that trip with someone you love.
Thanks. I will definitely do that. Just not this year.
Owning material things for no good reason is pointless.
I agree!
If I would go for trips, it will be from a different budget. This budget is pretty much for toys, gears or gadgets.
No offence but It all sounds to me like you are single
I wish… LOL
and you just want to spend on stuff you really don't need and it sounds like none of this is for work purposes. That to me is called throwing away money. But is your money so do what ever you want with it
Not sure why the impression. I never throw away my hard earned money. But it’s all okay. All comments are welcome! Hahaha.
If it was me I would just put it in the bank.
