Might consider it. Love the 12-45. I wish it went to 200mm and would be an option to the very expensive Panasonic 50-200. Also my copy of the Panasonic 45-150 is quite good so it is a hard decision for limited budget.

Very expensive is relative to one's budget, yes? I would no more buy the 40-150 f4 for $900 when the PL 50-200 f2.8-4 is available for the inexpensive price, to me, of about $1400 (in my case, I bought for under $1300). Faster throughout much the same range, excellent quality build, light weight (light enough for me), and longer FL to boot. I'm sure the PRO 40-150 f4 has advantages prized by some, but for me, the PL makes a lot more sense for my style of photography. It's all about one's desires & budget, correct?

I think you are kind of comparing apples to or... pears at least. PL 50-200 is a great lens apparently, but it is class of it's own in size and weight.
OM Pro 40-150 f/4 is 382g where PL is 655g and significantly larger too.
I'm expecting this new OM pro being very sharp at f/4 which is probably true when I look at the dpreview OM-1 sample gallery(significant amount of them are shot with a OM pro 40-150 I think)
