a picture is worth a thousand words

Tis with the back removed, but you don't need to remove the display. notice the metal tab on the right, that is your hard resets

Hi everyone how can I fix the FFB issue on a 7D in 2022? Thanks any help advice greatly appreciated

If you take off the back ,you will see a flap of metal . this is your reset button . With the battery out and the switch on push and hold it for 30 seconds. This will do a total reset on your camera. you only need to take off the back to achieve this. Good luck and a Disclaimer do it at your own risk to your health and to your camera's health. ps watch out for that big capacitor, you need to discharge it by way of a 300k ohm resistor. Having said that if you only go in from the back it should NOT be an issue. Again DO IT AT YOUR OWN RISK.
