Microphone for making Skillshare videos

Hello everyone,

Been reading this forum for some time now and found lots of useful information. I noticed there are also plenty of you who know a lot about audio gear so I hope you'll help me find the best solution.
I'm looking for a mic suitable for creating Skillshare videos (also YouTube in the future). I wouldn't only show my screen and do a voiceover, but I'd also occasionally appear in the video. I don't want the mic to be visible in the videos.
The two mics I'm considering after lots of research are Rode VideoMic Pro and Rode NTG4.
I'll mostly sit in my videos, there won't be much (if any) walking around, hence, I assume that I'd also need a pole to mount the mic above me?

When it comes to the Rode VideoMic Pro, is it just plug-and-play? After connecting it to the mirrorless camera (which is Fujifilm XT3), is it ready to work?

When it comes to the NTG4, if I understood correctly, it requires an audio interface and a long XLR cable, right? Is there anything else besides that?

Been watching plenty of videos comparing these two mics on YouTube and I'd rather get the NTG4 because it sounds much better, but is it really worth spending the extra money for my purpose? Especially considering I'm a beginner.
I don't have much experience in this so I'd rather avoid spending too much money if the VideoMic Pro can do the work. If things take off, I'll probably outsource the audio/video editing to someone, but I still don't want to give them a hard time with editing
Thank you!
