Enter Cosina-Voigtlander.

I’ve had quite a few C-V LTM and M mount lenses over the years, and I like their optics and mechanical build. When they announced the chipped 35/1.2 Nokton in native X mount, my ears went up…

I have the X-E4 with 27mm. That Voigtlander is looking pretty attractive to me right now, too.

I kind of wish my credit cards had little feet and could run away when I get in these moods!

I know the feeling! What I like about images I see from the Nokton are the two distinct characters, one wide open and one stopped down. It fits my shooting style.

I bought the Nokton and then an XE-4. The chipped Cosina lens is excellent. It's more compact than the Fuji 34 f1.4 It's a huge seller in Japan and I think there will be more to follow.

Sounds like you're going to have lots of fun!

I just realized I have a similarly awesome lens already, the Mitakon 35mm F0.95 Mark II.  So I won't be buying the Voigtlander.
