Or in camera.

I ran across this little video that shows how you can adjust the color warmth in camera before you take your shot, and thought I'd pass it along.

Sorry, I didn't jot down the url.

1. Put your camera in Live View.

2. Hit your Q button.

3. Choose Kelvin as your white balance.

4. Press your set button.

5. Using either the main control wheel, or your left or right arrow keys, raise or lower your Kelvin temperature.

6. You can see the effects right before your eyes before you take your shot.

7. Press your set button to lock that Kelvin temperature in place.

8. You can either take it out of Live View and use the viewfinder, or just leave it there in Live View and take your shot.

Here are two extremes, just to show the difference. The first was taken at 3600 Kelvin, and the second was taken at 7800 Kelvin.

The Cloudy preset is about 6000 and the Daylight is about 5200.

You can decide ahead of time how warm or cool you want your shot to be. This may be old hat to some, but it was new to me.

Thank you for this tip.
