I'm an XPro user, must be different on the X2T. Here's what the manual says, which is less than helpful:

Mode Setting

  1. After pressing the group button to select one group, press the button and all the current group’s mode will be changed by the order of TTL/M/--.
  2. In normal situation, press the button to switch the multi-group mode to MULTI mode. Press the group selection button and then press the button can set the MULTI mode to ON or OFF.

[eyeroll].

Okay. Found it. via this youtube video [10:30]. Make sure nothing's selected and just press the MODE button (without using the group button first), that should toggle you in and out of MULTI.

Now that was a CSI moment. Many thanks, and that is one of the few videos I had not seen. The video also reminded me that when I get it set, the lock mode is my friend.

Thx for the kind response.
