The Rosette Nebula
5

With city lights to the West, and my house blocking the East, I concentrate on objects near the Zenith. Currently that is, among others, the big, bright (relatively speaking) Rosette.

This is 54 minutes of light at 400 mm f/6 (Sigma 150-600 mm (C) lens), and a D5600a camera. The focus was not great,, and I messed around with the image quite a bit in an attempt to improve it. But after down-rezzing by a factor of 2, perhaps it's not so bad.

I'm waiting for it to rise over the house to add more light later tonight.
