Argh - Sensor cleaning mishap (help needed)

Sorry for the additional post.  I did a couple of test shots with my new-to-me D500, and there is some sensor dust.  The built-in sensor cleaning didn't do anything, so I tried my Giotto's Rocket (small size), and realized that the first few times (maybe 4-5 puffs) I was blowing on the shutter and not the sensor.  (After I got it right, the blower worked somewhat, but I'm either going to have to try a brush/wet cleaning, or send it in to Nikon.)

I feel like an idiot blowing onto the shutter.  Any chance I damaged it in trying to clean the sensor?  I know it is very delicate, but I'm hopeful that it is still OK.  Not sure how to test it beyond using it.

Many thanks in advance.
