FZ80 - stopped taking multiple images

I feel like a fool asking this question. I take photos of birds by holding down the shutter to take as many images as I want to. I had always been able to do this for an infinite amount of time/images. Suddenly – I think I accidentally changed a setting while in the menu – I am no longer able to do this.

I thought it was due to an accidental burst setting, then perhaps a continuous mode problem, then finally bracketing, but I haven't been able to solve the problem and return the camera to how it used to behave.

Obviously, bracket and bust both shoot multiple images, but what I'm looking for is neither of those: I want to shoot continually for as long as I press the shutter. I feel like it should be about AFF / AFC, but no avail.

Help?
