Considering a7 ii as first FF camera

Hi everyone, my current camera is an a6300, which I'm mostly very happy with. I'm considering adding an a7 ii to my kit bag, partly because I'd like IBIS, and partly because I'm simply curious about the image quality for landscapes etc. (Those extra physical controls on the body of the camera wouldn't hurt either.)

I'm looking to buy used, and the a7 ii is quite affordable. I understand that an a7 iii or an a7r ii might be better options, but both of those are around twice the price (used) of the a7 ii. I'm really only a stills photographer, so video specs aren't really that much of a concern

So my question is: would you recommend the a7 ii as a first FF camera? Are there any issues I should be particularly aware of (shutter shock, focus issues e.g.)?.

Thanks in advance!
