Do You Care How Large File Sizes Go?

I've been reading here that 24mp is the "sweet spot," while others disagree and say more is better, then some suggest that less may also be fine depending on the type of work.  There tends to be no real consensus on the issue.

The new Leica M11 has a 60mp sensor that I believe can produce single images of 80mp+.

Many brands now offer sensors well over 24mp in their pro camera lines.

As hard drives become bigger and bigger and perhaps cheaper, at least before the global chip shortage, storing these large file sizes is fairly easy.

Do the DPR members here enjoy working with and storing images with large file sizes?  And if so, is there an upper limit where you will say, please no higher?
