Same situation, different lenses, what's going on??
1

Hi!  I took these two pictures, handheld, within 10 minutes of each other.  No post processing.  The top one is with the 18-55 XF kit zoom and the bottom one is with an old Nikon 105mm F/2.5 portrait lens using an adapter, both on the X-T30.

Obviously, I was a different distance from the subject and the F-stops are different (the bottom was F/2.5, so wide open).  But, why is the white balance so different?  The contrast?

18-55 zoom, at 55mm, f/4.5

Nikon 105mm f/2.5 at f/2.5

I can easily adjust the contrast for the second picture and it clears up a lot, but I'm wondering if I should do something different when I'm actually taking the picture to start with better results.
