EOS R5 Can't activate high burst mode in any setting.

Normally when the high burst mode was selected, there should be an icon displayed on the right. However, there is none on my camera, and the fastest burst rate I could get is 7fps.

I understand this mode only works in certain situations, so I've tried a ton of configurations but still couldn't get the icon displayed.

I use an R5 body with an RF 15-35 f2.8, Lexar UHS-II SD card, firmware 1.5.0, room temperature around 20°C, Camera freshly restarted without any use other than to test the burst rate, and here's what I got:

Canon LP-E6NH 93% charged - no high shooting icon, 7-8fps

Canon LP-E6H 67% charged - no high shooting icon, 7-8fps

Canon LP-E6 99% charged - blinking white high shooting icon (finally!!!), 5-6fps

These results are taken in Av, Tv, M (1/200 shutter speed, f2.8, Manual/Autofocus)

So basically I feel like the camera would only enter the high burst mode with the 6-year-old LP-E6 battery (even though it is still quite slow), the camera won't even activate the high burst mode with the newer batteries.

Has anyone encountered something similar to this? Any idea what's causing the issue? Thanks

No high-speed continuous shooting icon
