Freezing vision after a burst on an Canon R3

Hi.

I am a sports photographer in Spain. I am testing a Canon R3 Camera and my impressions are very good. But there is an issue that bothers me and it is the following: When you take a burst of shots, there is no blackout or jamming in the vision of the scene in the electronic viewfinder, but at the end of the burst there is, for a fraction of a second, a image freeze. This is very annoying and sometimes prevents knowing how the action is going to proceed. A colleague who tested this camera last month told me yesterday at a game that there is a setting that removes that freeze, but he can't remember what it was. I've gone through all the settings dozens of times and I can't find the solution. Can anyone shed some light on this issue?

Thanks in advance!
