What does AI mean?
1

Hi,

With the upcoming release of Luminar NEO and other software that claim to incorporate AI I began to think about what it means. My understanding is that some level of AI is embedded in the software and it will "learn" about how the software is used and, maybe, improve on the actions taking place. If this is true then each implementation of the software will change with time and use so that each individual's application becomes "unique".

Is this true? If it is, then updating the software will become difficult as changes for improvement or "bug fixes" would have to be implemented without affecting whatever actions have been "improved" by the AI.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,

Bob Schoner
