I reverse engineered the firmware code, and that is how I made continuous shooting in e-shutter mode possible (see my original post). I almost made EFCS works on m62, but there is a weird bug stopping me right now. I am 100% sure that there is no hardware limitation (at least in 7fps or less mode).

Reverse engineering firmware code is not the same as reading the original code, as Sigma know well. You may well be able to stop EFCS working by deleting a couple of lines from your emulation code, but how can you be so sure that that's what Canon did? How can you be so sure that the weird bug stopping you making EFCS work on the M6mk2 right now didn't stop Canon doing the same thing?  Don't get me wrong, I hope you succeed in getting EFCS working on the M6mk2,  and share with us all how we can do the same.  Just don't attribute to malice what could equally well be due to budget limitations or thoughtlessness.
