My whole point is: only controlled tests are valid. And those tests by other people show the issue.

There already is a tightly controlled industry standard test for stabilisation. That's how the manufacturers get the CIPA ratings, the validity of which you are questioning. The problem with setting up controlled tests is making sure that they reflect real life and that the controls are agreed to be relevant and proportionate by enough people to make them worthwhile.

D810s have EFCS. Idk about d800s but they are ten years old. The M6ii's eshutter mode creates way more limitations than efcs. One shot only, no strobe, rolling shutter with moving subjects due to 40ms readout time.

The M200 and M50II have EFCS, if that's what you want.

the m6II has useable e-shutter

I thought you could get 20fps with the m6II's eshutter mode.

true - but in reality - one would use this for motion with > ss 1/200 where shutter shock is a non issue

and the m6II gets 14 fps mechanical shutter where again ss > 1/200 would be used

You can get all those missing features you wanted in a mirrorless Nikon camera that's less than 5× the price and just over 3× the weight of the M6II, but, not surprisingly, there's quite a waiting list for it.

the op is sore about the missing EFCS on m6II

but the e-shutter rocks in use cases

I'd be more sore if they left out e-shutter
