The whole point is to check the effect handheld, since that's the usual method of use, and on-tripod tests have already been done.

And I doubt if the images would get much better on tripod. With mechanical shutter it's likely even worse, since handholding dampens the motion.

And no recent flagship (or mid-range products tbh) have such issue.

D800 and D810

They all have efcs.

Then the M6 II doesn't have the issue either because it has electronic shutter.
