Windows 11 install failed

I've got two pc's and two laptops, of which three are able to run Win11.  One laptop just too old.

I waited for months for 11 to show up via Windows Update, but so far it has not been offered on any of the pc's.   I went ahead and used Win11 Upgrade Assistant to do one of the laptops, and all went well.  (Found out this weekend that I needed to uninstall/reinstall Wireshark to get it running, but everything else seems fine.)

I got tired of waiting for 11 on my main PC, so I did the same thing there - used the Upgrade Assistant to take my Win10 PC to 11.   Again, no problems.

So yesterday I tried it again on my other PC, a 4-year-old Intel (I7) based PC I built.

It installed and booted OK into Win11, and it looked good.  Then I rebooted.

And ... it would not boot.  It would get into the Rescue mode and I could try various tests, but none would get it to boot again.   A look at srttrail.txt mentioned a corrupted boot binary, but I was not able to find anything on the internet that explained it well.

Fortunately I was able to use the Rescue mode advanced option to Remove Lastest Feature set, which was able to take me back to WIn10.

So... I'm now waiting for Update to offer it.
