Hi everyone, enjoyed a midday walk with my wife today, on what is a very windy overcast day. I took the Em1ii with the 12-45 f4 pro along because it's so easy to carry and you never know what you will find.

How does the 12-45 f4 pro differ from the 12-40 f/2.8?  This was one of their earliest pro lenses and a real beauty.  I don't understand why Olympus would produce another of identical focal length but one stop slower.

We headed to a place I had not been before, a boardwalk along a lake, and many trees along the shore are eroding in the water. Some have even managed to cling on for dear life with their roots grasping at the last piece of shoreline.

The light was very flat and overhead, so I though I would not get to much. However I processed the life out of this one to make something of interest.

Such a great location, however the sun would set behind this most times of the year and the trees behind would block any early morning light from catching it. So I will try to get back early one day, to see if any morning light would transform the scene.
