The pleasure of going through your photos
22

I've recently been looking through my 2021 landscape photos to make a calendar, and through my photos of our new baby, to make a photobook of his first year of life.

Not for the first time, I realised how cool it is to have been to many beautiful places and to have captured so many wonderful moments.

There are regular questions here: "why do we take photos?" "what will happen to my photos after I'm gone?" "who cares about the quality of our photos?" and so on.

Ultimately, to me the answer is that I enjoy the process of taking photos, I get to see things and see them in a better way, and I get to remember lots more things and relive beautiful moments. As a non-pro, that's already pretty great.

Anyone else thinking the same way?
