Epson P900 bends corner of paper for 5x7 size

My new Epson P900 was working perfectly until I tried to make prints on 5x7 paper.  For every attempt to print at 5x7 it bends or separates the paper front from the back on the left corner (when looking at the printer).  I've tried this on Epson premium glossy and Ilford smooth pearl.  They both do the same thing.   The paper is perfectly flat and the other corner is always perfect.  I tried curling that corner but it doesn't change anything.  I also tried putting the guides really tight on the paper and really loose...no change.

However, I don't seem to have any problems at 4x6, 8.5x11, 13x19 or 17x25.

When the paper is taken in by the printer it does make a scraping / crunch sound for all papers, but especially 5x7, like the paper snags on something in the roller.

Is there any way to fix this or make any adjustments to get the paper to work?

Thanks!
